The JBoards app

Run your display from your phone.

The JBoards app talks straight to your controllers on your home network. See what's playing, change it, and reach every setting, without opening a computer.

Coming soon to Google Play and the App Store. The app is in development; this page will link to both stores when it's out.

At home

What the app does

All of this works on your home network, with no account and nothing sent to a cloud service.

Finds your controllers

Controllers on the same home network show up by themselves. If one doesn't, add it by its address or scan the network.

A dashboard per controller

What's playing, health, temperature, uptime, and any warnings or alerts, live.

Quick controls

Start or stop playlists and effects, set brightness, switch outputs on or off, and run test patterns.

Your whole display

See the other controllers in your display from the one you're connected to.

Full settings

Open the controller's own setup page inside the app for every option it has.

Firmware updates

Keep your controllers up to date from your phone.

Away from home Planned

One JBoards account

Remote access is planned for a later version. You'll turn it on at home, sign in, and then check on and control your display from anywhere.

  • The same account everywhere. Sign in with your JBoards account, the one you use at the Enclosure Designer store and on this site.
  • Alerts on your phone, for example when a controller goes offline or a show doesn't start.
  • Share your display with family or crew.
  • Your show stays home. Only a short status summary passes through our service; lights, sequences and music never do.

Remote access needs a controller firmware update when it arrives. Read how we handle your data in the privacy policy.

Do I need the app?

No. Every controller has its own web page that works in any browser on your home network. The app makes the everyday things faster, and adds alerts and access from away once remote access is available.
