Delete your JBoards account
Your JBoards account is one account for the JBoards app, this website and the Enclosure Designer store. Deleting it closes it in all three.
In the app
- Open the JBoards app and make sure you're signed in.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Tap Delete account. The app lists what will happen.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete account.
- If the app asks, sign in again. This is a security check; nothing is deleted until it succeeds.
When it's done, the app signs you out and goes on working with your controllers at home.
Without the app
Email us from the address you use to sign in, so we can tell the request is yours:
Email
getjboards@gmail.com
Use the subject "Delete my JBoards account". We'll reply to confirm, and again when your account is deleted.
What is deleted
- Your remote-access data: your displays, your controllers' records, your notification settings and push tokens, your alerts, and your place in other people's displays. Shared displays stay with their other owners.
- Your sign-in: the account is closed on the app, this website and the store. You can no longer sign in, and your name and email are removed.
What is kept
- Past store orders are kept for our records, without your name or email.
- Your controllers keep working. Controllers you alone own are removed from remote access, but they go on running their shows, and your phone still controls them on your home network.
- We may keep a limited record where the law requires it, and will say so if you ask.
Deleting your account can't be undone.
Only want to stop remote access?
You don't have to delete your account for that. Turn remote access off on a controller, or remove a controller or display from your account in the app. To remove what the app stored on your phone, uninstall it. See the privacy policy for details.
